JOB WELL DONE!

BUSY WEEKEND = GREAT SUCCESS!

This past weekend (October 29-31, 2010) was a very busy one for the band.

On Friday we played the Rockville Rams Varsity Football Team onto the field and inspiring them to a 42-0 win!  Go Rams!

Saturday we were honored to be included in Cathy Fink and Marcy Marxers 25th Annual Family  Concert at Strathmore playing with our favorite fiddler Bonnie Rideout

Sunday we completed our own marathon playing from 8:15am to about 11am for the 21,00+ runners participating in the Marine Corps Marathon.  Everyone in the band showed great stamina by playing most of the time.
Special thanks goes to alum Emily Melgrin for helping us on snare drum and kudos to rookie snare drummer Nicholas Shropshire for joining in a playing his first performance!
We stayed warm with the help of hot chocolate, donuts, and homemade muffins.  Thanks to all of our wonderful support people for being there and bringing all of the goodies!  Our Boosters are the best!
